An estimated seven million American patriots joined together to speak with one voice in towns and cities across our country this past weekend, protesting against the wannabe-dictator and his morally corrupt MAGA agenda. In what is reputed to be the largest peaceful demonstration in history, representing our vast political, economic, and ancestral diversity, citizens are uniting behind the message and objective of this movement. We love America, and we demand an end to the demolition of real democracy to make way for dictatorship and tyranny.

 

No matter how many lies Trump, little Mickey Johnson, Senate leader John Thune, and their minions spout, claiming that American cities are being invaded by the dregs of society, violent Antifa rebels, and illegal immigrants who hate America, the reality is obvious…this diverse mass of citizens is united in their loyalty to the qualities and traditions America represents, enviable blessings the MAGA movement and this administration are determined to destroy.

 

We will not tolerate: 

 

Unwelcome, unneeded, illegally deployed troops in combat gear, carrying weapons of war, patrolling our streets and intimidating our citizens.

 

Thousands of masked, unidentifiable thugs brutally assaulting, arresting, and deporting our friends and neighbors without warrants or charges. 

 

A thriving economy being destroyed by the imposition of senseless tariffs and discarded trade agreements. 

 

Our history being rewritten to hide the sins of our ancestors and glorify white supremacy.

 

Bigots and illiterate nationalists deciding what our children should be allowed to learn or what books we are permitted to read.

 

Our museums and institutions of higher learning being blackmailed and intimidated into substituting preposterous propaganda to replace established and verifiable facts.

 

Denying health care for 20 million citizens to fund a trillion-dollar giveaway for the top one percent of the richest one percent of taxpayers.

 

Twisting our laws and coercing media to conform to a dark, twisted, hypocritical version of “Christianity” that ignores and contradicts the teachings of Christ and every other religious doctrine to appease the diaper-clad anti-Christ in the White House.

 

Being compelled to endure this endless tirade of blatant and ridiculous lies from almost every member of this corrupt administration and their media megaphones.

 

What we expect from our government and hope for our society:

 

An economic policy that protects our citizens, controls inflation, supports free trade, reinforces vital government functions, and values the expertise of civil servants who are being illegally fired by the thousands, rather than feeding the greed and gluttony of Trump and his billionaire cronies.

 

Protections for the programs that ensure health care from local providers for every citizen, nutrition for struggling families, childcare and early learning opportunities for our children, and real public education based on facts instead of racist nonsense.

 

A return to real justice in the application of our laws to protect the innocent and restrain the flagrant cruelty and brutality of Trump’s private gang of goons in their pursuit of respected members of our communities, instead of real criminals. 

 

Ending the administration’s blatant racism, misogyny, and promotion of the rich white male as some sort of supreme being who should lord over everyone else and be immune to prosecution for their crimes. 

 

Republicans to fulfill their duty and obligation to stand up for their constituents and the Constitution…for a change

 

And what should we expect from each other?

 

Those traits that support the best of our humanity and humility - empathy, kindness, fairness, understanding, generosity, forgiveness, help for those in need, inclusion, dignity, respect, reason, logic, truth, wisdom, liberty, unity, courage, patience, freedom to be who we are and to love who we love, and joy…and all the other human virtues that this administration and Trump’s MAGA maggots are trying so desperately to destroy.

 

Hundreds of generals and admirals were transported across the globe and sequestered for hours to listen to two nonsensical and completely inappropriate political speeches demanding unquestioned loyalty and obedience to the draft-dodger-in-chief and the fascist policies being promoted by his fraudulent flunkies. Unfortunately, those military leaders were not brave enough or loyal enough to stand up for their oath to the Constitution by taking Trump and Hegseth into custody for treason on the spot. 

 

For the first time, we are hearing broad support for a national strike to shut down the country to protect the rights and benefits that make us the greatest nation in history. After suffering under our criminal-in-chief’s vicious, hateful regime for less than a year, a growing majority of our citizens agree that it is time for this administration to be removed from office before the very foundations of our democracy are demolished by Trump, Congress, and a corrupt Supreme Court. 

 

Although it is totally impractical, We The People should demand immediate free and fair nationwide elections for every elected office from the presidency down to local officials, with no shady outside contributions or deceitful advertising, no ICE agents or armed troops at the polling stations, and no interference in collating the results. 

 

These demonstrations are merely a first step in a long march to return our nation to sanity and genuine patriotism. Our democracy will not survive the imposition of American fascism unless we
